Joe Parrini wins Men's Club Championship at age 15

Joe Parrini won the men's club championship on Sunday July 27th on his 15th Birthday at the Country Club of York. Joe Fired 73 on Saturday at age 14 and a - 76 149 for a great win.
Congratulations Joe.

YORK CATHOLIC CLINCHES DIVISION CROWN >> Joe Parrini carded a 70 to edge teammate Nick Geiman by two shots as the Fighting Irish clinched the YAIAA Division III golf championship.Andrew Forjan and Josh Stewart finished third and fourth overall, respectively, for the Fighting Irish as they had the top-four finishers for a team score of 393. Delone Catholic and Hanover tied for second place with a score of 453 each.York County Tech was only three shots behind them with 456 while Bermudian Springs (494) and Fairfield (508) finished a distant fifth and sixth.

Amy Kennedy wins 5th Club Championship
Amy Kennedy defeats Connie Shorb and wins Ladies Club Championship for her 5th title at the Country Club of York, Amy came back after being 4 down on the front side to prevail on the 23rd hole. Congratulations Amy.
Amy Young Win's Ladies Club Championship
Amy Young defeats Connie Shorb at the Country Club of York, Amy got off to a slow start, 3 down after 4 holes but stormed back to win the Ladies Club Championship one up. Amy also won the Ladies York County Amateur defeating Connie Shorb in the final match.
Brynn Walker Wins AAA PA High School State Championship
Brynn Walker scores 72 - 76 148 wins AAA PA High School State Championship. Congratulations Brynn for you second high school state title. Sophmore Joe Perrini finish tied for 9th in the AAA Boys Division.
Sister & Brother win District 3 Golf Championship
A family thing: York Catholic's Parrini siblings double up District 3 goldJoe and Lauren Parrini become first brother-sister combo to win District 3 golf titles in same year.
A storybook ending came true for the Parrini family Saturday during the District 3 Golf Championships at Briarwood Golf Club in York.On Briarwood West, York Catholic senior Lauren Parrini teed off in morning with a nine-stroke lead over Becca Graham of Boiling Springs.Over on Briarwood East, her brother Joe, a freshman, teed off with a two-stroke lead over York Catholic teammate Nick Geiman.By the end of their rounds, the senior and her freshman brother became District 3's first set of sibling champions crowned on the same day.Lauren Parrini took the Class AA girls' district title with a 13-stroke victory. Despite high winds and a wet course, Joe Parrini managed to play steady and consistent to finish his final round at 2 under, 4-under par for the tournament and a Class AA boys' title. "It is (Joe's) first time playing high school golf, and my last time," Lauren Parrini said. "It is really our only chance to be on a team together, and it's been a great time."At one point, Lauren Parrini held a 15-stroke lead. She said her coach, Bill Brander, came up halfway through her round. Brander told her that Joe was 3 under."I was telling people that I was more excited for him to win than me," she said. "I knew he had really stiff competition, and I knew that he could do it."Her little brother finished two shots ahead of Geiman, who won the YAIAA championship a week ago.On this day, the Parrinis were on top of District 3.For Class AA, at least.
Joe Parrini win Major IJGT Tournament

The IJGT hosted the Major Championship at Out Door Country Club on October 25-26, 2014. The Major Championship was the first Major of the season and the final tournament of the Northeast Tour. Juniors competed for IJGT merit points and national rankings.Joe Parrini of York, Pa., of the Boys 15-19 Division combined scores of 73 and 74 to win with a two-day total of 147. With consistent scoring in both rounds, Parrini carded five total birdies and 24 total pars for his tournament. The York native had familiarity with the course and took advantage of his course knowledge to finish five shots ahead of his competition. The Major Championship title is the first for Parrini after his graduation from the Boys 14 & Under Division.In second was Gus Minkin of York, Pa., with a tournament total 152 and rounding out the top three was Teddy Zinser of Alexandria, Va., finishing with a total 154. Zinser’s round-two score of even-par 72 earned him the Clazic Belts Low Final Round Award, the award presented to the male and female player with the lowest final-round score.
n the Boys 14 & Under Division, Jack Halleron of Timonium, Md., was victorious. After posting a round-one score of 78 and sitting in second behind then leader, MJ Bricker of York, Pa., Halleron used nine-hole par-or-better streak to ignite his comeback effort for the win. Halleron’s performance was highlighted by five total birdies. Sharing second was Bricker and Evan Greenplate of York, Pa. The duo both posted tournament totals of 154.
