Golf Schools In Vero Beach
Hello students just got back from Florida to this beautiful snow and cold weather, the schools were filled to max and 80% of the students are excited about coming back for the 2016 season. I enjoyed seeing Roy Pace my partner, and also having my son Mark as a partner and instructor. I would like to also thank Rick Flesher who worked with students on putting, Rick does a great job and gets results when we all go to the course. I like what I saw when we went to the course, less mechanics and more on course management. I also would like to thank Joe Kern head professional at the Indian River Club and his staff, Ted

Ted and Mark,
As I stated to Mark, this camp was phenomenal. Aside from the great teaching and a thoughtful structure, the chance to meet you, Rick, Roy, (Mark again) and a number of Philadelphia players led to a wonderful three day experience. Exhausted, blisters, a sore knee, and perhaps too many swing thoughts may be the immediate take home. But the longer view will be applying many of the swing corrections, course management skills, and other tips to the game back home.
Appreciate your many kind words of encouragement and look forward to doing this again in the future. Please extend my special thanks to Roy. We had two great days of playing together. There could not be a nicer gentleman, one who is so gracious and kind. I really enjoyed watching him play. He can still smoke it.
Best regards
Tom
Sister & Brother win District 3 Golf Championship
A family thing: York Catholic's Parrini siblings double up District 3 goldJoe and Lauren Parrini become first brother-sister combo to win District 3 golf titles in same year.
A storybook ending came true for the Parrini family Saturday during the District 3 Golf Championships at Briarwood Golf Club in York.On Briarwood West, York Catholic senior Lauren Parrini teed off in morning with a nine-stroke lead over Becca Graham of Boiling Springs.Over on Briarwood East, her brother Joe, a freshman, teed off with a two-stroke lead over York Catholic teammate Nick Geiman.By the end of their rounds, the senior and her freshman brother became District 3's first set of sibling champions crowned on the same day.Lauren Parrini took the Class AA girls' district title with a 13-stroke victory. Despite high winds and a wet course, Joe Parrini managed to play steady and consistent to finish his final round at 2 under, 4-under par for the tournament and a Class AA boys' title. "It is (Joe's) first time playing high school golf, and my last time," Lauren Parrini said. "It is really our only chance to be on a team together, and it's been a great time."At one point, Lauren Parrini held a 15-stroke lead. She said her coach, Bill Brander, came up halfway through her round. Brander told her that Joe was 3 under."I was telling people that I was more excited for him to win than me," she said. "I knew he had really stiff competition, and I knew that he could do it."Her little brother finished two shots ahead of Geiman, who won the YAIAA championship a week ago.On this day, the Parrinis were on top of District 3.For Class AA, at least.
Golf Magazine Top 100 Teachers Summit
I just attended the Golf Magazine Top 100 Summit. Over 120 attended. I have never missed a Summit and I had the pleasure of taking my son Mark with me, he also thought the summit was great. To be able to listen and share experiences with collectively the best teachers in the world is an incredible experience as well as a privilege. A special thanks to Dave DeNunzio and David Clarke from Golf Magazine for making the summit possible.
A special thanks to Mark Blackburn & Jon Tatersall they were co-chairs of the summit and had outstanding speakers at the event, I came back excited and refreshed.
